  I do not know why super slow service. Open only one counter and very slow servixe from the black guy. The matchine also vroken and this location do not care to fix it. Please away from this location.

  Worst mail service and delivery ever. They took it upon themselves to change my name on my mailbox before I even changed my address and still live in my home. Now all my packages are getting “returned to sender”. While I am still here and have 25 more days.

  To the Walled Lake Post Office, I am extremely frustrated with the lack of follow-through regarding my mailbox and an important package from the Secretary of State. I recently broke my mailbox key, leaving it stuck in the lock and preventing me from accessing my mail. Since then, I have made two separate trips to the Walled Lake Post Office seeking assistance. During my first visit, I was assured that the mail carrier would open the mailbox and deliver the package to my door or otherwise make sure I received it the following day. That did not happen. I returned the next day and was told there was no package being held for me, but I was again assured that the mail carrier would be opening the mailbox that day and delivering my package. Once again, nothing happened. At this point, I have been given multiple assurances that have not been honored, and I still do not have my package. This is unacceptable, especially considering that the package contains important documents from the Secretary of State. I am requesting immediate action to resolve this issue. Please locate my package, ensure it is delivered without any further delay, and provide me with an update on what steps are being taken to correct this situation. I should not have to continue making trips to the post office after being repeatedly told the issue would be resolved. I expect this matter to be addressed promptly and appreciate your immediate attention.

  I frequently ship out packages and often run into some of my packages ending up lost at this location. I check tracking, they get scanned in but never leave and for weeks I’m left with the message “delayed in transit”. Eventually the tracking number no longer exists and the receivers never get my packages. I’ve been patient and spoke to a few of the employees here asking what the problem is and get left with being told that I need to file a claim or to “cross my fingers” in hopes that it gets found. Not once or twice has this happened. This is now the fourth time. I do not recommend this location.

  1. When I moved to Novi last year, I was unable to get a mailbox key from my landlord, so I purchased one from USPS. However, the key was incorrect and would not open my mailbox. I visited the post office again and left the key with them to be looked into, but they never contacted me for an entire month. During that time, I was unable to receive many important documents. When I finally followed up about the key, they had completely forgotten about it. In the end, my landlord had to personally visit USPS to obtain the correct key. 2. I received a notification that a purchased item had been delivered to a parcel locker, so I checked my mailbox — but there was no parcel locker key inside. Their work is far too careless. As you can see from the many reviews here, this is probably one of the worst USPS locations around.
