- GNGemmi Nye3 days ago1.0It's 11:32 in the morning with eight people in line come and as I am next in line the young Vietnamese girl turns around from the counter and and howlers into the office and tell her supervisor she is going on break will her supervisor never turns around the look to realize all these people were in line. Now I'm not saying not to take a break, I'm just saying you have to be considerate of your co-worker and the customers at least.

My marriage license was shipped 2 weeks (according to the court) and I have no choice but to stand in the long line and wait to speak to the one person working face to face, due to their voicemail being full all the time. As others have also mentioned, the ONE person at the counter is always extremely rude. I work in customer service myself, and would never talk to ANYONE the way these employees do. I cannot wait to move soon knowing I wont ever have to deal with this place ever again.

I’ve been to probably 15–20 different post offices throughout the Metro Detroit area, and this Shelby Township location is by far the worst experience I’ve had. The customer service is terrible, the wait is ridiculous, and it feels like nobody cares. The line is constantly backed up to the door, yet there always seems to be only ONE person working the counter. Even when the line is extremely long, there’s no sense of urgency whatsoever. The employee at the counter often seems like she’s just going through the motions like a robot—no effort to communicate, move things along, or provide good customer service. The postmaster really needs to take a serious look at how this location is being managed, including staffing, customer service, and overall efficiency. When the same problems happen over and over again, something clearly needs to change.
