- SPSarah PrebbleApr 30, 20251.0Called looking for information about a package containing time sensitive live eggs, the lady who answered the phone was very rude and snippy. Couldn’t give me the location of my package that was supposed to be delivered 3 days ago but was insistent that it wasn’t lost. Gave me misinformation about priority delivery taking up to 15 days… everywhere else I’ve looked says 2-3 (I was understanding of it taking up to 5 but after that the eggs would die) Very disappointed about how the situation was handled. Ionia post office however didn’t brush me off and did everything they could to help try and locate it quickly.
- MMMichelle MurphyMar 27, 20251.0Worst hours ever. Only open 9-4. Closed an hour for lunch. No access to PO boxes because they lock both sets of doors. They will leave a note for a package requiring an adult signature. I will sign the paper and leave in the mailbox, and they still wont deliver it. Often leaving 2 to 3 more notes, each of which I sign to leave it. then still have to pick up in person which is impossible with their hours. No other post office around has this limited capacity.
