- TSTonya SmithAug 22, 20243.0hi this is Tanya and and the Newport on post office people they are very friendly there is wheelchair accessibility they have plenty of parking they have they have like they have stamps in the post office they have mail delivery services the places big and and I think they're hiring right now but and and they deliver the mail to my house cuz I am blind and I cannot go across the street cuz obviously there's no mailboxes but they were going to move move them across the parking lot but there's no landmarks so what's the point and besides this is against 88 law anyway for a blind person to cross the parking lotHi this is Tanya Smith and I am totally blind and I've been living here since 2001 and for a while I had to I had to fight to get a mailbox on my side of the street cuz it is unsafe for me to cross the street and plus since I am blind I cannot see it all it would be impossible there's no landmarks but now they deliver to my house they deliver the printed mail and the Braille books and even though they say I do not qualify for a hardship they let that go because they realize that that it is impossible for me to cross the street and it's stupid to in a stupid to to deliver into places considering they took the mailboxes across the street down so I'm glad they are working with me finally and realizing the errors of their mistake
