The print quality was unacceptable, with washed-out colors, poor color accuracy, and inconsistent results that looked nothing like the files I submitted. If you’re paying for professional printing, this isn’t it. Also apparent is the bias and inconsistency when it came to printing copyrighted material. Policies seemed to be applied selectively rather than fairly, making the entire process frustrating and unprofessional. The store itself was dirty, cluttered, and poorly maintained. Several employees appeared sloppy, disorganized, and lacked any sense of professionalism. Reflecting an incorrect or negative assertion about customers’ artwork and publications to anyone while those same customers were paying Staples to produce them is terrible. If you’re in the business of printing other people’s creative work, respect for your customers should be the bare minimum. After this experience, I won’t be returning. If you want quality printing, accurate color reproduction, and professional customer service, save yourself the frustration and go to VistaPrint or FedEx Office instead. Both have consistently delivered better products and treated customers with far more respect. Staples Print & Marketing has lost my business, and I can’t recommend them to anyone looking for professional print services.
