  My experience with the Lake Odessa post office has a little bit of mix, but overall anytime I have contacted the office, I always have great service if there is an issue with the package or a delivery of mail. I wish I could remember her name, I'll have to stop and find out, but there's a lady there with beautiful short whitish hair, and every time I stopped in the post office she is bubbly and so willing to help out with anything I'm trying to get in the mail. Recently a young man named Tyler who works there helped my mother-in-love package and send my contacts and glasses through the mail while we were on vacation. In my opinion when you stop in, they are super friendly and very helpful. The staff has had a really good turnover in the past few years inside the office and they seem always willing to help. Likewise if I call and there's a minor issue with something coming through the mail, I always try to approach the situation as benefit of the doubt, and they always are super helpful in solving whatever needs to be solved, be it something not delivered appropriately, mail not put in the box, or whatever it is! My advice to those who ever have an issue with how something is delivered is approach the situation with kindness, and understanding that sometimes things just happen and it was not personal. Our postal employees do have certain guidelines that they need to follow and we need to be understanding of that and if you are calm and kind to them they tend to be the same way back and are more willing to help fix your situation. Thank you to all of you who work in this location and have always been helpful with any needs brought in or called in.

  Within the last few months and a new mail carrier we've had NUMEROUS issues with our mail, not receiving it, it being given to the neighbors, damaged, returned to sender address unknown etc. Upon speaking to the post master who changed her story multiple times with the latest missing package I'm beyond frustrated. Your carrier is REQUIRED to scan your package AT YOUR ADDRESS, not next door. You shouldn't be told one day it was scanned at a certain place then the next day no it was scanned at the house east of you, then be told your mail carrier told you where she put it, she believes she put it there ( even tho it wasn't scanned at my address) to reorder what was lost. Our response was we were filing a complaint, her response you're more then welcome to but you'll just be redirected back to me. PROBLEM UNSOLVED!
