- BABetsy AllerJul 1, 20265.0Lots of people complaining about this P.O. I agree that they frequently are very understaffed. That is absolutely not the fault of the good people working there. For 25 years, this is our P.O. go-to. Stephanie in particular is a gem -- efficient, knowledgeable, friendly, stoic when she looks up and sees an endless line of often crabby people. Leave yourself lots of time, and go with a positive attitude. Complain to the 9th Street P.O. managers who fail to staff Drake Road, or work to get a Postmaster General at the federal level who gives an actual damn. But have some grace for the staff at Drake Road. They are capable and pleasant professionals doing they best they can.

The Drake rd location offers a clean facility with workers who try their best. I’ve been turned away from the 9th street location when workers were unsure of how to handle my postage, but have never had that experience at Drake rd. I’ve worked with several agents at the Drake rd location now, and If you can, always work with Shelley. She has the best customer service, explains your delivery thoroughly, and will match you with the best price. As long as Shelley’s here, I’ll always use this branch for my delivery needs.
