    May 11, Monday, 11:20 PM. The lady on the second booth from the left Side had attitude when I asked her to weigh a package so I could know the exact amount and go grab the money. Instead of doing that, she got mad at me, telling me that they already told me. But they didn't tell me; all they did was tell me it starts at $13.99.After I gave them the package, they got mad and told me it's going to be $150 or more. I asked if I could get the exact amount, and they didn't like that.

    I had a very frustrating experience at this USPS location. I came in to ship a package and received little to no help from the staff. Two employees at the counter were especially dismissive and unprofessional. One of them may have been named Tina, but I’m not completely sure. Regardless, both employees showed no effort to assist me or guide me through the process. I asked for help multiple times and was met with poor customer service and a lack of basic courtesy. I even requested a supervisor because I wasn’t being helped, but the situation still didn’t improve. As a customer, I expect at least basic assistance when trying to ship a package. Instead, I left feeling frustrated and unsupported. I hope management addresses this issue and improves customer service at this location.

    My name is John Ali, and I regularly handle shipping for StockX-related orders. On a typical month, we ship well over 300 packages, so I’m very familiar with how shipping locations operate and what basic customer service should look like. Unfortunately, my experience at this Hamtramck location was extremely disappointing. The employee I dealt with, Tina, was dismissive and unhelpful from the beginning. I asked a simple question about getting a label, and instead of assisting, she made the process unnecessarily difficult and confusing. I was told I needed to purchase tape, was charged for it, and never even received it. When I asked for a receipt, she did not provide one. At that point, I decided I didn’t feel comfortable continuing the transaction. I asked for a supervisor, and the number I was given did not work. When I requested that she contact a supervisor directly, she refused. Another employee nearby did not step in to help resolve the situation either. Instead of trying to fix the issue, I was ultimately told they would not ship my package after already taking payment. The situation escalated further when I was threatened with the police over a situation that should have been handled professionally from the start. Given the volume of shipments we handle every month, reliability and professionalism are extremely important to us. Because of this experience, we will not be using this location moving forward and will be taking our business to another shipping facility. I would strongly recommend others consider alternative locations if they expect clear communication and respectful service. — John Ali

    Worst customer service experience I have had at this post office. I went in to drop off a letter but realized I forgot my wallet and was short by $0.78. I politely asked for a moment to return with the payment.Instead of basic understanding or professionalism, I was met with a 👩🏿‍🦳 women very rude and disrespectful attitude that made a simple situation unnecessarily difficult. There is no reason for customers to be treated with such hostility over a small issue. Basic respect and patience should be the standard in any service job. I will not be returning to this location, and I hope management seriously reviews how staff interact with customers.
