USPS has consistently been one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I deal with. Nearly every visit involves unfriendly or unhelpful staff, confusing return issues, and little to no empathy for customers.
I carefully follow retailer return instructions, yet USPS frequently tells me something is wrong with the package. When I show them the retailer’s directions, I’m often met with “I don’t know why it says that,” with no effort to help resolve the issue. Instead, I’m sent away to figure it out myself.
There seems to be a serious lack of communication between USPS and the vendors they service, and unfortunately, customers are left dealing with the consequences. USPS should do a better job setting clear expectations with retailers and equipping employees to provide respectful, solution-oriented service.
Basic customer care also feels absent. Something as simple as offering tape for minor packaging issues (caused by misalignment with the vendor) could go a long way, but instead the experience often feels unnecessarily difficult and dismissive.
If I had a choice, I would choose UPS or FedEx every time. Unfortunately, I often don’t. Every trip to USPS feels stressful, inconvenient, and avoidable.

I’ve been dropping my business package weekly to this post office for over 5 years , previous several postmasters are always very accommodating and friendly. Recently they changed with the new one and it’s been horrible!!! And this not only from my own experience- many locals are very unhappy about this change

The clerk at the counter is RUDE as all can be. Why are you working with the public if your demeanor is that you don’t want to be there or working. The Ignorance in that building is extremely high.
If you want to feel like you’re a problem and an inconvenience- this place is for you.
If it wasn’t for us patrons using USPS this clerk would not have a job.
**Edit- as of 2/24 I’m now getting harassing calls at my place of employment from this location.**
Do better usps- this is unacceptable.
