New carrier picked up multiple packages from my porch, did not scan any of them in, and then lost the biggest package worth hundreds. The post office is telling me since I don't have video proof (even though I work from home and see when the carrier gets here) they will not help me and I have to file an insurance claim / police report. No accountability.

- EEEricaJun 29, 20262.0Moved to Gladwin from Midland and have been trying to change my address for a month! I sent in a post card with the update and also did so online once I NEVER HEARD BACK from the USPS. They sent me a verification barecode via email to take into the office. I took the barecode along with proof of my residency and was told I was set to go. A week later I receive a paper in the mail with another barecode. I again take the barecode up to the post office with two proofs of residency (My updated ID and voters registration). For whatever reason my ID kept scanning my Midland address although my ID clearly stated the. I was seriously told "I don't know if it went through sorry I don't know what to tell you". You're joking right? If you don't know the answer find someone who does thats an unacceptable answer concerning something as important as mail. I have never in my life had an issue changing my mailing address 🤔
