  For the last month I have been purchasing mailers and printing labels, which the clerk has then affixed said labels to the mailers, and then handed them back to me to package and ship out. Suddenly, I am told this is not allowed. Either most of the staff is wrong and needs to be fired or the lady who “helped” me today is power tripping, and either way that’s absolutely insane. I’ll be driving further to go to other locations from now on. Get your act together

  I have been a customer at the Ferndale Post Office for 6 years. It is THE BEST USPS in the State. All of the staff are good, but Joe and Stacy are a A++ Dor EXCEPTIONAL Service, patience, kindness and most of all educating some of us seniors on the basics without being condescending. I drive out of my way often to go there.

  (09/18/2026 at 2:19p) Bruh! The older african american woman who has a faint mustache was BEYOND rude. I went to present my change of address. I am currently without a permanent address and needed to have my mail sent to an address because it was beginning to effect my banking and background checks. I presented the proper paperwork AND proper I.D. everything is for the stated of MINNESOTA... everything matched. She is holding my information like there is a problem and tells me that there are now SEVERAL steps to a change of address. I inform her that that seems weird and I have not EVER gone through more than ONE STEP... turn the paper in and the address was changed. She tells me it will take 20 days and then I would have to take the paperwork to ANOTHER post office and have it scanned once there is something in the mailbox...after the 20 days. I share with her my disbelief... she says with all of the snark... "you should have thought about that before you moved". I then challenged her with a question, I asked her how do HOMELESS people get their mail. She turns up the snark " I don't know, I ain't never been homeless!" By this time my patience had been exhausted and I gave the snark right back to her. You should probably train the staff to DO BETTER even if they aren't ACTUALLY better. Encourage them to FAKE IT UNTIL THEY MAKE IT. You should also help them understand how homeless people get their mail, especially when they are full of housing suggestions that is actually NONE of their business. If you were looking for an employee to nominate for BUTTHEAD OF THE MONTH... she is it! You should just giver her a LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD for the same thing. The most unhelpful and un-empathetic woman on the planet.

  I just visited this post office on Monday, August 10th 2026 just before 11am. I needed help shipping a return, buying stamps and mailing a card. The girl at the counter was busy talking to Friend of the Court on her cell phone while “helping” me. She started dialing them as I approached the counter and said she thought I was just trying to get situated. I had questions about packaging and pricing of the stamps. I bought some stamps and she proceeds to put two stamps on the card. Every time I asked her a question she looked at me as if I was interrupting her phone call. I wanted to know why she put two stamps on the card, and she said because of the weight. I send that same type of card often and ALWAYS use one stamp. I needed a receipt and the printer was out of ink, but she was so busy on the phone giving her address and personal information to the court that she barely helped me. I just walked out without a receipt. I typed this review as soon as I got back to my car. Her behavior was completely unacceptable and I hope her manager sees this!!!

  Friendly workers, clean facility, never had any problems here. I've been to several other locations that were just awful. Some people say they waited in line for awhile..expect that at ANY location and schedule around knowing you might wait.
