Through blinding blizzards and the biting rain, Across the mountain pass and dusty plain, A silent promise echoes through the land, To place the world within a waiting hand. From neon cities where the engines roar, To lonely cabins with a wooden door, The blue-clad couriers walk their steady beat, With heavy bags and tireless, marching feet. They bear the heavy burdens of the heart, Connecting lives a thousand miles apart. A birthday card that makes a grandma smile, A tear-stained letter from a distant isle, The vital medicine, the monthly bill, The small surprises that the mailboxes fill. No badge of profit drives this sacred trust, Just public service, steady, fair, and just. Ben Franklin’s legacy, a timeless bond, Spanning from coast to coast and far beyond. The sorting hubs that never sleep at night, Where millions fly beneath the fading light, Are gears within a vast, organic wheel, That keeps the nation vibrant, bound, and real. In every ZIP code, every neighborhood, They stand for unity and common good. So when you hear the mailbox lid clink shut, No matter if it's mansion or a hut, Remember those who weave the social thread, By whom the quiet words of love are fed. An anchor in a fast and changing age, They write their names on history's daily page.

Consistently excellent service here. I’ve been coming to this location for 21 years (for passports, packages and mail) and have never had an issue.

This is my experience with this post office. I had lost my key (totally my fault) in which I went And let them know and to find out what I needed to do. The lady at the counter proceeded to take my address and info down and handed me two new keys and told me they would give me a call when the lock was changed ( I live in a mobile home park). This was 9-26-15 Saturday. Three days went by and no call, so I stopped and checked to see if the lock was changed thinking maybe they just forgot to call or got busy. Nope, still can't access my mail. So I called to find out what was happening 10-1-15 Thursday. The lady insured me as they were little short handed the carrier would for sure get to it tomorrow (Friday 10-2-15). Waited all day no phone call. I stopped on my way home from work 5:30ish pm...nope still can't access my mail. Okay, now I'm very irritated. Not only can I not get to my mail there is Mail ordered Medication in there. So first thing Saturday morning I go to the post office and find out why it was not changed. The response I got was "she couldn't figure out how to change it". Okay Sooo no phone call to let me know what was going on? I then proceeded to let the lady behind the counter know I have time sensitive mail and Medication in there. So I asked what time the carrier gets to the mailboxes. Her response was a shrug. WHAT? I told her I needed the mail out of the box today. She then goes to the back room and asks the carrier what time she gets to these particular boxes. She tells me 1pm. I said okay I will be there at noon as I cannot wait any longer to get my mail. After all I had no idea it would take a week to change a lock in the first place. Any way...here I sit, it's now 1:35 pm Saturday 10-4-15 and still counting. I understand things are not as simple as we may think sometimes, but this is where communication is important. Just sayin....
