Employees are undertrained and incredibly rude. They told me you can't ship perfumes. Then how do I ship perfumes 12 times a month? How do I have a collection that I've bought from others that have shipped them to me?

This is the worst post office! There are a dozen people in line at any given time and ONE person working the desk. And it’s like this consistently. Even the little small town post offices have more people working.

I visited this USPS office for the first time on 06/15/26, and I was highly impressed by the kindness, professionalism, and helpfulness exhibited by Patrick! 📬

I visited this post office today and unfortunately had a very disappointing customer service experience. My concern is not about one mistake or a bad day, everyone has difficult days, but about the overall attitude and unwillingness to help customers who simply needed assistance. As someone with extensive management and customer service experience, I understand firsthand that working with the public is not always easy. However, customer service roles require patience, professionalism, and a willingness to problem-solve. If a customer needs help, help them. If there is a problem, work toward a solution. That is the responsibility that comes with any public-facing position, especially one funded and supported by the very people standing in line. Government jobs may not always be glamorous, but they are important positions that come with stability, benefits, and long-term opportunities that many people would be grateful to have. Because of that, basic kindness, professionalism, and courtesy should never feel optional. There was no reason for customers to be met with hostility or a rude attitude today. No one in line caused the frustration that was being projected onto them. People are already dealing with enough stress in everyday life; they should not have to absorb unnecessary negativity while trying to mail a package or ask a simple question. My advice to the employee involved would simply be this: if customer interaction is consistently frustrating or overwhelming, it may be worth considering a position better suited to your strengths. But if you choose to work in customer service, then treat people with respect. You never know who may walk through the door, your next supervisor, a future opportunity, or simply someone having a hard day who deserved kindness instead of your attitude. I hope management takes this as constructive feedback and places greater emphasis on professionalism, patience, and customer care moving forward.
