It should be left at our front door,where there is a covered porch to keep the packages safe from the elements. I wish our mail carrier would STOP shoving packages that are TOO large for our mailbox into our mailbox. Too many times, we had to fight to get our packages out of our mailbox, which damaged the packaging and our mailbox. Our mail carrier has broken our flag several times and rarely closes our mailbox after delivering mail. This has been happening for years and it's frustrating.
