- RGRyan GuiteSep 11, 20261.0Absolutely horrible customer service. Avoid this post office if you can. The line was 10-12 people deep, and despite the obvious backlog, they refused to have more than ONE agent working the counter. I waited 27 minutes just to get through the line for what should have been a routine visit. What makes this particularly frustrating is that there were clearly enough customers waiting to justify having additional staff serving people, yet there seemed to be absolutely no urgency to address the situation. Watching a long line continue to build while only one person works the counter is incredibly poor customer service. A 27-minute wait for basic postal service is unacceptable, especially when the solution is simply to have another employee step up and help clear the line. I’ve dealt with busy post offices before, including Portland, and even Portland’s service isn’t this bad. At least there is usually some effort to keep things moving. If you have the option, I strongly recommend avoiding the Yarmouth Post Office and going somewhere else. The combination of the long wait, lack of staffing at the counter, and apparent disregard for customers’ time makes this one of the worst post office experiences I’ve had. Yarmouth Post Office: 1 star. Poor service, poor management, and an unnecessary waste of customers’ time.

I snowblow a "fireman's" path around my entire house and a path to each door. And they say no access to the location? Bull!! Lazy. So unacceptable.
