As I write, it's been five days since three packages were said to be out for delivery. See the attached photo for the odyssey of one of them, which is perishable and will likely have to be discarded if it ever arrives. (It's said to be out for delivery today, but we just got mail for the first time since last week--a catalog and a magazine for someone who doesn't live here!) As others have noted, nobody answers the phone. Going there to see what's up with my mail seems pointless, in part because of the rudeness of the staff, and in part because it appears these packages keep being put on and off delivery trucks.
- ESE SaucierApr 17, 20241.0This is the *worst* post office I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. All the employees are rude and sour. No one ever-- EVER-- picks up the office phone. If you go in and tell them that you aren't receiving your mail they blame you (um, please explain to me how mail has been delivered every day without fail since 1976 to our mail box, and suddenly this week they can't seem to pick up or deliver letters to the box-- but they will still drop off packages??!!). It's been four days since anyone TOUCHED our mailbox, and the flag has been up, and every day we add more invoices to it that need to go out (we run our small family business out of our house). I've been on the phone for the last TWO HOURS just trying to get someone to pick up the damn phone. Shameful doesn't even begin to cover this behavior. What a waste of taxpayer dollars!
