  Mail delivery has been great. My review is specifically related to the building hours. I came on a Saturday morning and the cashier windows were closed, and no representatives were available to help patrons. This is extremely frustrating because I came during their open hours, according to the hours posted online and on the door. I was able to mail my package, but I had also come for additional services, which I was unable to complete due to there not being staff available during the advertised hours of operation. If there are any changes to the schedule, please post a sign so your patrons can plan accordingly!

  Before I started putting my mails on hold:- I called the 800 numbers and I told them what I’m about to do for a few months and they gave me a green light. When I first went to my local post office I told them what I was about to do and they okay’d me too but, the second time I put my mails on hold they keep giving me a run around !! I was told today that the supervisor said no more mails can be put on hold in South Portland because they’re so many people putting their mails on hold. (I doubt it’s the case) When I checked with usps.com it was confirmed that I can hold my mails more than 3-5 times a year. I went to the post office this Wednesday because my mail hold expired on the 4th. They told me come back tomorrow or Friday. I went back on Thursday and the mails were not there. I went back again on Friday and the representative was angry at me for going back to post office to ask for my mails as if they are doing me a favor. !!!!… I have some very important documents that Im expecting that’s why I keep going to post office every time they tell to go back. I have all the hold mails confirmation numbers plus all the call records. If you’re going to be a federal worker please make sure you are going to serve every one with equality without prejudice or bias. I’m not making any assumptions but I’m speaking my truth. I’m not asking for a favor and you’re not doing me a favor by doing your job. I’ve never been disrespectful to anyone doing their job but if I’m getting second hand treatment I’m going to speak up.-.-. It’s not the 40s I was told to go back on Monday and I hope when I get there it won’t be hostility!!!!! For clarification, I’ve never been hostile, rude, disrespectful or raised my voice in any capacity/manner and I don’t fit the stereotype. I just want the job done

  Posted and website hours say open at 0800 on Saturday. No one on site by 0815, went elsewhere.

  The 5 stars are specifically for Jody. She is the most helpful USPS employee I have ever dealt with. Even when the computers are down and she is there alone, she will do whatever it takes to help you. Thank you, Jody!
