It stinks because I remember a time when going to the local post office gave you a sense of community or the very least you felt like your personal property was in good hands.

Every experience is awkward, stressful, and frustrating. I get that there’s a lot of customers coming in and out but man, it feels adversarial most of the time. This is over YEARS of service. Very unprofessional and disappointing that nothing has changed.
- MWMikhayla WelschApr 20, 20211.0you can not talk to a real person and the automated message is no help. the hours are also horrible. they also do not leave the flat rate boxes out by the machine like they're supposed too. when they're closed (which is almost always) you can't get to the flat rate boxes to ship anything out. absolutely ridiculous that they're the only post office that locks them up. I had to drive all the way to Portland just to get a flat rate box!
