Absolutely horrible customer service by the man at the counter named “John”. Older man with salt and pepper hair. Our postman has not been delivering packages to our business. He has been marking the notices as undeliverable to the door as there is no access. I have stood at my office door that is very accessible to the public and watched him look right at the door and drive off with a notification popping up on my phone that it was not accessible. I went into the post office and was gruffly spoken to by John as he shrugged his shoulders and acted like it was not their problem that they are being lazy and marking packages as not deliverable. He spoke to the woman in front of me extremely rude as well. Customer Service is not what this guy is about. He needs to be in the back where he is not the face of the USPS and representing them. I see by the many negative reviews on this guy that I am not the only one. I will be making a formal complaint as well. Do better John and the USPS for having someone like that being the face of your business.

I live in Coulin park rockland. The gentleman brought a package to my door however, I had other packages that he left by the mailboxes in Couglin park, where they could be stolen by multiple people when it said it was left in the paschal, I thought my package was safe and did not receive it till the next day when it was sitting outside by the mailboxes. When he could have brought them to my door with the first package that he delivered, pure Laziness and a risk of me losing life packages

In many ways, this PO is very old school — and I like that. Next time you visit, check out the framed documents above the retail counter; official Presidential Commissions issued to certify Rockland's (then-) postmaster. Some of them date back well over 100 years and they all speak of a time when local postmasters were appointed by (of all people) the president. It's a rare nod to the past for a public building these days.
