    Was in today to get my kids balloons. They were way tired and acting up and i was already frustrated. We picked balloons and i asked an associate where we go to blow them up. She said come on over to this register and ill cash you out. My thoughts were ok ummm thats not what i asked though. She gave me my total of $33 but my card was having trouble. I tried every way. She did not try to help. She just stood watching me swipe insert tap, everything. Eventually she said her machine froze and we should move to another one. Once i paid she just stood there. I said, are we gonna inflate these? She said what time?? I said what do you mean? She said usually you have to plan a time and it could be quite a while. I said i live an hour away . She said But if i needed them now i would have to wait for her to finish her line and she had to close her register. So i bit my tongue and took my kids outside. At any point when i asked where balloons get inflated, or when the machine was having trouble, any time wouldve been a good time to tell me that she had no intention of inflating them. So eventually i went back inside. She had blown up 2 balloons.....but took a fair amount of time rearranging signs at her register letting people know it was closed. By now my 3 kids are loosing it and im about to. As i wait for the final balloon a man and child ask her where to find princess balloons and she states, just grab one off the wall and ill blow it up for you! I about lost it. Why was i ignored, and told i had to plan a time ahead, and now wait for inflation and the guy behind me is being politely told the complete opposite. She handed me my balloons and i left. I couldnt even say thank you because alot more wouldve come out of my mouth. What was supposed to be a quick pop in for the kids turned into an absolute mess.

    Went in to shop. When it was time to check out, the only register was at the ups shipping/return register, where there was a lady who was doing 8 individual returns. 10 customers walked out while we waited. While the cashier worked diligently to do her best, management was unwilling to help at all. How can losing the customers and their buisness be profitable ??? And they've definitely lost our buisness too.

    I am giving Colleen a five star review, not necessarily this corporation. I entered the store when it opened to return a number of items to Amazon. It was very busy and Colleen was running both the returns and the register. I was worried about how long my returns would take as I had a number of items, and the line behind me was long. But she assured me that everything would be fine. She did a wonderful job helping. And was nothing but professional and respectful!

    Weeks ago I ordered from the Staples website a product to be delivered to that store for me to pick up. I got a Staples email saying Fed Ex attempted delivery. I go to the store, no order there and the assistant manager, (I think her name was Daniele or Diedre,) said they don't use Fed Ex. I asked why would Staples ship it FedEx if they don't use Fed Ex and her reply was "I don't know -shipping has been weird." She did not offer any follow up help or she will call her manager - she said I can contact Fed Ex myself. Worst "customer service" I have seen in a while and I won't be using Staples again.

    Going to the Staples in Rockland requires mental preparation. Consistently, the customer service is among the worst I’ve experienced. The staff often seem unhappy to be there, and that attitude comes through in nearly every interaction. On a previous visit, an employee had my husband enter our address himself because she said she was having a bad day and didn’t want to do it. The keyboard was filthy and covered in crumbs. Today, I went in to mail a package and asked if there was a box I could purchase. I was told no. A few minutes later, I found an entire aisle full of boxes. When I returned to the counter, the employee’s response was, “Well, I didn’t have any at my station.” To make matters worse, there appeared to be only one employee working the entire store. Whether that’s a staffing issue or a management issue, it creates a poor customer experience. I’ll be using FedEx going forward to avoid having to return.
