★☆☆☆☆ Absolutely Awful Customer Service This was, without question, one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. We mailed packages to ourselves ahead of our trip and simply needed to pick them up. Instead of making even the slightest effort to help, we were told that Amazon rules were higher priority because “Amazon is our client.” As paying USPS customers who had entrusted the Postal Service with our own packages, it was astonishing to hear that our needs were apparently less important. Rather than looking for a reasonable solution, the staff seemed completely uninterested in helping. There was no flexibility, no common sense, and no willingness to think beyond rigid procedures. It felt like the goal was to tell us “no” instead of finding a way to provide customer service. The most unbelievable part came when we were put on the phone with the local postmaster. Instead of trying to resolve the situation, she openly bragged about having provided “terrible customer service” for 34 years. Whether it was meant as a joke or not, it perfectly captured the attitude we encountered throughout the office. Imagine a manager proudly embracing poor service instead of leading by example. USPS exists to serve the public. Somewhere along the way, this office seems to have forgotten that mission. The employees we dealt with appeared completely disconnected from the idea that customers deserve respect, courtesy, and a genuine effort to help solve problems. This experience reinforced every negative stereotype people have about government bureaucracy: inflexible rules, zero accountability, and employees who seem more interested in exercising authority than helping the people they serve. A little empathy and common sense would have solved this situation in seconds. I rarely leave negative reviews, but travelers who plan to mail packages to themselves should think twice before relying on this post office. Based on my experience, don’t expect customer-focused service or anyone willing to go the extra mile. This office represents everything that frustrates people about dealing with government agencies. It was an abysmal experience from start to finish.

I loathe this place. They are mean and unhelpful. Avoid at all costs if at all possible. -God forbid you don't know part of an amazon order is coming USPS, package returned! (And yes, they know what residents have boxes) -Your insurance only covers mailed prescriptions? You work normal hours and can't get there in the 6:45 minutes that they are open on week days? Too bad, package returned! Even when you go to drop something off you are met with contempt and rudeness. My favorite part of my last visit was when she marked my satisfaction survey herself. Definitely the point of a survey...
