- PDPolly DecesereDec 23, 20171.0Unbelievable this post office I was informed by the supervisor of the post office in Summerville SC that u are suppose to have it posted that the 14th was shut off date for mailing packages I mailed on the 15th with an expected delivery date of the 20th. cuz of Xmas now let me tell ya I paid over A 100 bucks to mail 3 packages one made it to NY the one to SC is now in 9 days travel & it's only in NJ but yet the One to Florida is in Jacksonville last time I checked SC is Closer than Florida. But yet my son in law shipped through UPS on the 18th & to the same Address in SC as I, They had it in 4 friggin days. I will never ever use the postal system to mail anything Again I always use UPS & it's cheaper but had no way to get there. So your service sucks. I am pissed off knowing my grandchildren won't get there Xmas gifts in time for Xmas . And while I'm on it we received no mail on McNally Terrace Newport , MAINE for two days not one person here had any mail for two days. I guess they deliver when they feel like it. I've contacted the post Master general on this matter so hopefully u will be stopped in picking your days to deliver mail. No one person saw a mail carrier.
