- JCJenn CaronApr 3, 20251.0Being a State Employee, I do NOT enjoy putting down Government Services....that being said....nor would I ever expect the amount of BS occurrences of simply just receiving mail! If it wasn't waiting months for them to change a lock on the mailbox we kept getting told would be fixed 'next week' over and over and meanwhile had to keep waiting till Saturday Mornings to pick up our mail since we work and their hours are only till 4ish pm and closed during lunch daily...it's receiving our neighbors mail frequently or having days when mail is supposed to be delivered and yet nothing is! OR having package delivery updates state 'Delivery Attempted - Unable to Deliver due to'...either INACCESSIBLE Driveway or Mailbox Full when any other time a package is brought to our porch...or whatever the reason of the week is this time. YET not 1 time has FexEx had an issue delivering any packages to us! 🤔 Hmm. Extremely frustrating to say the least, especially when you pay for expedited delivery and the excuses are a lie. Just be honest, hire more RELIABLE people and knock it off!! At least open the post office till 6pm and not close for an hour &a half for lunch when people may be able to pick up things that this location is unable to handle delivering!!

- JBJeffrey BowdenFeb 29, 20241.0Really discouraging to have to write a bad review about your own post office but here we are. Constant problems from the trucks being "incapable" of traversing slightly slippery terrain to mail items being carelessly left, shoved into mailboxes without regard, and completely being misplaced. In a 6 day timeframe we had 2 different tracked packages say they were delivered but never arrived, all while getting other deliveries. Some days are better than others but for something that you need to know you are getting all of, with how much online shopping is done these days; some of these issues are certainly not acceptable. Not sure what needs to change over there, but something needs to give and the people of Litchfield literally have their hands tied.
- MOMrs. R Darlene OviattMar 8, 20231.0Litchfield Maine post office deliberately delivered my package to the wrong address I do not have a garage or an alternate address to have my packages in Litchfield Maine delivered to and they know it. Because I live on a private road and not a city street and they know it. If anything I should have got to slip in my mailbox yesterday to pick it up at the post office like I've gotten before. That's still tampering with someone's mail even if it was post office staff
