I have had so many problems with this Silver Spring, MD 20910 location. First, its letter carrier, named Deidre, who took possessions of my Change of Address. She failed to forward my Change of Address placed in my building Out Going Mail box and given to her by hand. She did it 4X (four times) during two moves. I don't even know this lady and what was her fascination with me. When I had packages to be delivered to my apartment, rather than she bringing them to my apartment, she will instead requested that I come downstairs to get them. I have seen her take packages upstairs while I am on the elevator. I was on the 3rd floor and should not have take that much of an effort to have my packages delivered to me. After her failing and or refusing to forward my Change of Address, this lady started bringing my mail to my new address and placed it into my new address mailbox. I complained about her behaviors to the USPS Petsonell and nothing came off my complaints. I even complained to the Office of Inspector General (OIG), and was referred back to the USPS, what a shame and a disgrace for a government entity to behave in such manner. Second, I went into the post office to hand deliver my Change of Address, a supervisor, named Frank Gillard was beyond rude but very aggressive towards me. He called me into his office and immediately screamed at me to get out. He followed me out and in the presence of other customers said that he was not going to accept my Change of Address but my significant other. He even stated that people know the type of person that he was, trying to show-off. Finally, I complained this matter to a USPS Personell, named Kaye Jackson, a Customer Relations Coordinator, she was also terrible. After I took the pains to narrate my experience with Frank Gillard at the 16th Street, Silver Spring, MD 20910 location, she remarked that she was not Frank Gillard's boss and there was nothing she could do about it. Why did she let me narrate my story when she fully knew that there was nothing she could do about it. That was deceptive. She fictitiously did my Change of Address as when I received my Change of Address it did not have the Yellow Ribbon as my significant other. Even with this new location, Thayer Avenue, I just recently started visiting there, the mail clerk doesn't seem approachable thinking that he is doing you a favor by attending to your postal needs. Totally displeased with USPS handling of my complaints, not helpful one bit.

The ladies working there are on their phones ignoring the customers who are on line waiting. Not very helpful at all.

Useless staff. Waited 30 min only to have staff tell me they don't know if forwarding mail from two different old addresses was possible. The lady handed me a form and said "fill this out". I asked for a pen (as there were none on the customer counter). The staffer looked for a pen for about three seconds, said nothing and took next customer, even though I was standing off to the side, awaiting a pen... She continued ignoring me and took a second customer. After a few mins of NOTHING,,,,I reached behind an empty sevice register/counter spot, only to have another staffer (who hadn't said a word to his customers for 30 min.) speak up and say,"you can't do that". I left and found another location.

Silver Spring, MD has USPO's, in The Most Inconvenient Places, for The Handicapped; Seniors, and Folks, which are Too Poor To Afford Anything, Other than The Basics: Clothing; Food & Shelter There was A USPO on 2nd Ave, In Silver Spring, MD, with Lots of Convenient "Ride On", Buses, To, and From The Silver Spring Metro Station, but now: each USPO, can't Be Accessed, Easily, for *WMATA, has Made Confusing Name Changes, of their "Q, & Y" Buses, and have now have The Kind of Drivers with Very Poor CS/PR Skills; Mistreats The Handicpped; Immigrants, and Seniors! It's Hard To Connect with, The Buses, at Wheaton, MD Metro Station, Except The Ride On 40 Bus, which has Great Drivers, but Does Not have Any Sensible Bus Connections, To The Wheaton Library; M&T Bank, Pop Eyes, and The Friendly, yet hard To Access Amherst Ave, USPO, from Silver Spring, MD, and It Forces us To Wonder, if we have Smart Folks, in Leadership, at WMATA, and if they Co-Ordinate with The Great Montgy Cnty, MD Ride-On Buses! WMATA, has "EFFECTIVELY", SCREWED EVERYTHING, since they've CHANGED THE BUS NAMES from Q'S, and Y'S, TO their M'S which is A DEEP DAMN WASTE, of $$, and PROMOTES UTTER CONFUSION, and which REALLY WASTES, our TIME! IT DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE, nor HAVE ANY SIMPLE SOLUTION, TO: Our Already FINANCIALLY SCREWED Life, with TONS, of UNWANTED CONNECTION CONFUSION! IT'S RIDICULOUS! NO APOLOGIES!
