I gave it 3 starts because the gentleman that works there is the only one that seems to know anything. If you go when he isn’t there good luck unless all you need is basic services like stamps, money orders or sending something out. Everyone should be trained in all areas especially the postmaster which doesn’t know much about anything and isn’t too motivated to be there. If the man was working I’d give it a five star review because he know everything and the some. He even knew the post office was a bank and the history of the USPS.

Never got a renewal notice been using this box for 15 years. This time they never put a notice in my box at all not a first notice not a second, nothing. Went to get my mail and they changed the locks and retired my mail. Also the black lady that works the counter always has an attitude and looks like she just hates her job in general. I get it it’s busy but don’t take it out on the customers. I’ve used this box for years. It’s a free box I don’t understand why I have to renew it all the time constantly. I especially don’t understand why they would change the locks if I still get a ton of mail sent to it every day. This place needs to change it’s getting ridiculous!!

A majority of the staff is great at this location and go above and beyond, making it easy to support USPS. However, there’s a staff member with dark red hair on Wednesdays who is unprofessional, rude, and will not do basic tasks commensurate with the position. She said today, “every time I come to this office in Rising Sun, I’m fighting with people about what we do and don’t do.” The other staff members perform tasks that do not require a massive amount of time, but goes a long way to encourage repeat customers. If one staff member is fighting with customers, maybe they shouldn’t be there. This was our fourth interaction. The first time, she ignored the growing line while walking past us. I complimented her hair, and she stopped walking past me and helped me. The second, she was on the phone for five minutes with her son, which is fine, I get it- but given additional issues, it’s just another thing. The third time, she mocked my voice back at me when I asked a question. A piece of tape came loose. I said, oh hey, I left my tape at home and this is breaking- I didn’t see it, so you mind taping it quickly? She mimicked my voice back to me and said. “No we don’t do that!” It was unpleasant. Today, I walked in and had an address and she said I had to write the address on the box so that she could print a label to adhere to the box over my writing and insisted that I could tape my piece of paper to the box if I didn’t want to write it on the box. I have never had that issue at that post office. It felt very petty. She called her manager, who said, yes, we do that. And that’s when she hung up and said she regularly argues with customers. So… avoid USPS on Wednesdays.

I was supposed to get a package today that needed to be signed for and I waited by the door and she delivered it a package to my neighbors but not mine and then they said at the post office I have to be home for the next 3 hours for re delivery so they messed up and are doing nothing to fix it
