I am extremely appalled at how this post office has handled a very simple package delivery. On 2/24 at 8:45 AM, a package I ordered from Kohl’s for my son was received at this location. By 9:07 AM, it was marked “Insufficient Address” and set to be returned to sender — despite the address being correct. I called on 2/26 (while I was out of the country), and Grace told me they would look into it because the employee handling packages was out that day. On 2/27, Grace left me a voicemail stating they had the package. Once I returned to the country, I called again on 3/2, provided the PO Box number, and was told it would be delivered. On 3/4, I called again and was informed that instead of placing the package in the PO Box, they had put a letter inside the box stating that it must be picked up in person. When I asked if they could simply place the package in the PO Box since it is checked after hours, another employee (whose name started with an “S”) got on the phone and rudely stated they would not put it in the box because the name on the package does not match the name on the PO Box. They are now requiring him to come in with ID to verify he is the PO Box holder — which makes little sense considering the name on the package will still not match the name on the PO Box, even after showing identification. The address matches. The package was located. It was confirmed to be deliverable. Yet 10 days later, it is still sitting there. This has been unnecessarily complicated, poorly handled, and extremely inconvenient. It should not take 10 days for a child to receive a simple pair of shoes because of internal mismanagement and inconsistent explanations. Very disappointing experience.

This little post office has the best employees working there. They are so friendly and efficient! Anything I have mailed/shipped from there made it to its destination on time and intact. It hasn't ever been "busy" when I've stopped by - usually no wait, or maybe one customer ahead, but they are done swiftly. This is very different than the Westminster post office, which has nice enough employees but they are SLOW - like weirdly slow. And it's very busy there with quite the customer cast of characters.... The Eldersburg post office is not as bad, unless you get the one nasty man that makes inappropriate comments and messes with your packages (however, I am not sure if he is still there - I stopped using that office years ago due to my experiences with him). And the Union Bridge post office is not busy but is a cluttered mess. So I'd highly recommend the New Windsor post office if you're nearby.

People and service is great! BUT trying to call them and get ahold of a person to talk to is not good. Please make an option to talk to a person in the first list of calling options.

By far the worst post office in the entire USPS. The post master ED is dumber than a box of rocks. He will instantly send a package back to a sender vs double checking that the correct business address on the package is a real address. Then he will fail to check that the same business address that gets mail daily is on a mail delivery route not a PO box like the rest of the town has. I would like to know how he has worked there 3 years as post master and not know his territory that he is responsible for. His excuse to me was "I am not from the area, I live in PA, so how would I know" How did you even get this job???
