This is my go-to post office because it’s on my usual Saturday morning errand circuit. The furnishings are worn, and the place badly needs renovation. But I’ve only had positive experiences with the employees here. Today, one of the clerks noticed I was struggling to find the right size container to mail some gifts in, so she specially went to the back to bring out a smaller box than the one I’d been sizing up. When there were no customs forms, she produced one for me. She was kind and helpful, and she honestly did the USPS proud! Her name starts with D - I couldn’t read the rest. On a previous occasion, an employee who helped me mail all my Christmas packages realized I’d forgotten to take my receipt, so she mailed it to me with the sweetest handwritten note with good wishes for the season. These frontline workers are the beating heart of the USPS and deserve some recognition!

I had a very disappointing experience with USPS. The employees refused to accept my package without clearly explaining the reason, and when I asked for a receipt, they would not provide one. The customer service was unprofessional and frustrating. I expect better communication and respect from a service people rely on every day. USPS really needs to improve how customers are treated at this location.

Very unfriendly staff. They should just close the location and start over somewhere new.

Not sure why there are so many terrible reviews. Perhaps management has changed, or there are new staff members with better training and support. I have been using this post office regularly in the last six months, and service is always good, even when not exceptional. I get packages delivered at home, so I cannot speak to their package service for customers picking up packages in the post office. All packages I have sent from this post office have arrived at their destination promptly, and none have been lost or damaged. Yes, there are sometimes lines during peak hours: namely, at lunch or immediately before closing, or if someone comes in who has to do some kind of time consuming business that holds everything up. The employees I have dealt with have been courteous, helpful, and professional, even when dealing with less than polite customers. Recently, I have had two exceptional interactions here: one in sending a package quickly but cheaply across the country in an emergency situation for an ill family member; one dealing with important documents that had to be sent by mail and for which I needed proof they were sent on a specific date. I did not get the names of either of the young ladies who assisted me, unfortunately, but I have seen both of them at this location several times now. In both these situations, they were key to helping me find an affordable shipping option, and as well as generating an extra document I could use to show I had mailed the important papers on time. Maybe things were run differently at this post office location in the past. But in my experience, the folks here offer reliable, courteous service even under stressful conditions.
