Nice small post office that takes care of all your postal needs. The clerks move very quickly and efficiently. I love coming here for all my shipping and mailing tasks.

I went to this post office since I was in the area and it's the best one I ever been to. Surprisingly friendly good customer service and there was no long lines or disgruntled employees like Lanham, which is where I usually go close to home. It's seems it's all about the area and the management.

We had a very disappointing experience at this USPS location while trying to get our infant’s first passport. Before our appointment, we carefully reviewed both the USPS and State Department websites to make sure we had everything we needed. During the visit, we were told we could not complete the passport photo portion of the appointment because we did not have a plain white sheet for our infant’s photo, and we were effectively sent away for that reason. Afterward, I was able to find that the State Department mentions using a plain white or off-white sheet when taking a baby’s passport photo. However, that is framed as guidance for how to take the photo, not as a clear instruction that parents must bring a white sheet with them to a paid USPS photo appointment. Those are not the same thing. Instructions for taking a passport photo yourself differ from what a parent would reasonably expect when going to have the photo taken professionally. It is odd to expect parents to bring extra materials for a paid photo service unless that requirement is explicitly stated in advance. What made the experience worse was the way we were treated. Rather than explaining the issue politely or trying to help, the clerks were condescending, dismissive, and entitled. We had made a real effort to prepare correctly, and instead we were made to feel humiliated and foolish. We asked whether we could return in 15–20 minutes after getting the sheet. We were told to call, but were also told it was unlikely because of how many appointments they had. When we called, we were again told there was no availability. That was difficult to understand given that I had scheduled the appointment only three days earlier and every slot had been open at that time. We were also told that one clerk could not help because her coworker was away at lunch until 3:30 p.m., which did not sound credible given the time of our call. Overall, the issue was not just the unclear expectation about the photo setup. It was that we were turned away from a paid appointment over something that was not clearly communicated beforehand, and the entire situation was handled without professionalism, courtesy, or basic respect.

This has been the worst experience I’ve had at a post office. The cashier was extremely rude and completely unwilling to help. I tried giving her the benefit of the doubt, but every time I’ve come here, she’s been just as rude. I even had to return to get a passport photo retaken because the first time they didn’t follow the proper passport photo requirements. If you have the option, I strongly recommend visiting a different post office.
