  Wanda was great and helped us with our printing issues. She was patient and ensured we left with what we needed. Even though they were very busy and she was helping numerous people she still made sure we got all we needed and left satisfied. Thank you Wanda!!!

  TLDR: This is now the only Staples in Frederick. They seem to be understaffed or not aware of what parts of the store need staffing (hint: packages/print). The manager was not helpful. Ms. Wanda in the print area is great - she needs a raise! Longer version: I came to do a what I thought would be simple print job. Only one person was working in the print area and she was consumed with UPS packages. She had to call for help twice: the first coworker tried to be helpful but the manager (on this date at 3 pm) proved to be very unhelpful. I arrived with a nice quality print job (from another Staples) and wanted to make a copy to be bound. The first coworker came over and said use the copier. The copier spit out horrible quality so I spoke to the 2nd helper who ended up being the manager. He refunded me because ‘I didn’t like it’. I had to correct him and said no it’s horrible quality. The colors were so off, the skin color in the pictures blended into the white paper. (Attached a copy) Then I went to print from their computers for better quality. After only 30 pages, the printer had to cool down and cancelled my job. However, I had already paid for the computer time and the printed pages. I spoke to the manager again and he said ‘oh you’ll have to put in a job for that’. I expressed concern about how much money I now had wrapped up in Staples for failed jobs. He said you’ll get the money back! Right but who has unlimited money to be wrapped up with Staples?!? He then gave me two options: go to another Staples (‘back to the one that gave you the good copy’) or pay for it to be printed again. I said nope to either because the other was 30 miles away and I didn’t want to keep being charged to print. I asked him to get me someone who knows what they are talking about. Now we get to the point where I didn’t give them 1 star. He then passed me along to Staples angel, Ms. Wanda, the print area worker who was also dealing with the packages. She was able to help me sort out the printer issue quickly and get my original request processed in a few minutes. She was kind, knowledgeable and actually helpful. Make her the manager or at least give her a raise!
