My package is still stuck there for a week and hasn't been shipped out yet. This isn't going to last.

Unlike others who reviewed this post office, I haven't had any problems with the clerks at the counter. This place resembles your standard post 📫 office (see picture). It has various mailboxes 📬 for rent (see picture 📸). They sell various shipping supplies (boxes, tape) in the main lobby as well as gift 🎁 cards (see picture 📸). 1 thing I do appreciate here is the outside mail dropbox (see picture) that you can drive 🚗 up to and mail your stamped letters ✉️. No need to get out of the car to mail them. Overall, I think it's an ok 👍 post office though 🤔 I don't deal with them much as I don't live on Fort Meade.

This place is abysmal. I went in trying to ship paintball gear to a buyer and was denied because the system was flagging it as a “firearm”. No big deal. I ask the lady at the counter if she could please show me the screen so I could confirm, which she did. I then asked if I could take a photo of just the screen itself to send to my buyer as proof in case he wanted a refund. Upon doing so the man behind her started pompously asking me “what’s the base rules, what’s the base say about photos, what’s federal regulations for photos in a federal building”. To which I responded “I’m not taking a picture of your building or any infrastructure but I would like to send proof to my buyer that I will be unable to ship this out of your facility”. He then asks the same questions again being snarky and condescending, not helping the situation at all. Also for that dude here’s your rules and regulations for any future customers who have to “feel your wrath”. Personal Use: Informal pictures taken with a handheld camera in lobbies or public spaces are allowed at the discretion of the Postmaster, provided they do not disrupt postal operations. What You Can't Do: You cannot set up tripods/lighting, photograph USPS employees or customers, depict security cameras, or shoot in restricted employee-only areas like loading docks or the workroom floor.Commercial or Professional Use: Any professional photography, filming, or documentary work requires a pre-approved License or Location Agreement through the USPS Rights and Permissions office. News Purposes: Journalists may take photographs in lobbies and publicly accessible areas for news purposes, but even this can be restricted by local security, official posted signs, or court orders. Here you go! Hope you have a great usps day at fort meade!😄

Whoever the two black females that were working today May 2nd 2026 need to be fired. They were on their phones, tried to tell me that I couldn’t return a package only to show them proof and be forced to mail out my item. Absolutely rude and disrespectful and tried to turn so many people away so they could just stay on their phones and do nothing
