It was great working with Robert Half. Tkeyah, Kaitlyn, Ashley and Rachel were all amazing. It was through them that I was able to land a permanent role and if ever need be I look forward to working with them again.

I had a very disappointing experience with Robert Half, and based on my experience, I would not recommend them to anyone actively looking for employment.
I signed up with Robert Half at the beginning of July because I was actively seeking work and was under the impression that working with a staffing agency would provide additional support and access to employment opportunities. During the onboarding process, I provided all of the information requested of me, including references, and went through the necessary steps to get registered with them. I was also given the impression that they would be working to find me employment within a relatively short timeframe.
A month and a half later, Robert Half has not found me employment. However, what bothers me more than that is the complete lack of communication throughout the process.
I understand that no staffing agency can guarantee that a position will become available or that a candidate will be hired. What I do expect, however, is communication. Not once did someone proactively reach out to let me know they were still looking, ask whether I was still searching, provide an update, suggest other opportunities, or even simply check in. Every interaction after signing up was initiated by me. I consistently had to be the one reaching out.
That made the entire onboarding process feel like a waste of time. Why request references and have candidates provide extensive information if there is going to be little to no follow-up afterward? If there are no suitable positions available, that is completely understandable—but communicating that takes very little effort. Leaving someone who came to your agency specifically because they need employment wondering whether anyone is even working on their behalf is not good service.
What makes the experience even more disappointing is the comparison. I signed up with another staffing agency afterward, and within approximately one to two weeks, I had secured employment. The only reason that process even took that long was because the employer’s hiring process did not begin until roughly two weeks later. The difference in responsiveness, follow-through, and actual results was significant.
I did not expect Robert Half to magically produce a job overnight. I expected the level of service and communication that was presented to me when I signed up. Instead, after completing everything they asked of me, I received virtually no proactive communication and no meaningful assistance.
For people who are unemployed and actively searching for work, time matters. Communication matters. Following through matters. Job seekers are already putting significant time and energy into applications, interviews, references, and paperwork. A staffing agency should make that process easier—not become another organization the candidate has to repeatedly chase for an update.
Unfortunately, my experience with Robert Half was lackluster from beginning to end, and I would not refer a friend, family member, or colleague to them based on the service I received. If you are actively looking for employment, I would recommend exploring other staffing agencies that are more communicative, proactive, and engaged with their candidates.

I have been trying to look for a role in either finance or administrative work and did not know where to begin. And then I found the Robert Half Agency. I created my profile and then within days Tkeyah Mays and her Baltimore team contacted me for a profile review. After the initial onboarding process, she was able to find me a role with HABC as an admin. Her team, Kaitlin and Rachel made the process so smooth. Once they assigned me, I just went to my first day of work and the rest was history. Even though my role as a temp at HABC was short lived, it made such an impact, and I gained so much valuable experience. This was a role I never would've found without Tkeyah Mays and her team. After that role ended, they found me another role in just a week! I was so impressed! I'm in this current role with another housing authority and I am loving it! It's such a competitive job market making it a challenge to land a role. Robert Half really helped me break into my industry. And I have Tkeyah Mays, Rachel, and Kaitlin to thank!! They're the best!!!!

I've had an excellent experience working with the Robert Half Baltimore team. From the very beginning, they've been professional, responsive, and genuinely invested in helping me find opportunities that fit my skills and career goals.
