I run a small business and use this post office during both my morning and evening routes. Recently, I have repeatedly found someone sleeping inside the lobby on USPS shipping boxes. The area has also been dirty and had a strong unpleasant odor. I have raised these sanitation and safety concerns with the clerks several times, but the situation has continued. In addition, when the package drop-off area is full after hours; especially on weekends; customers leave parcels piled outside the secured drop area and unattended, creating a serious risk of loss or theft. Management needs to keep the lobby clean, ensure shipping supplies remain sanitary, and provide a secure way to accept packages after hours. I hope USPS addresses these concerns promptly and connects the individual with appropriate outreach services.

Unfriendly and not helpful. This is not my normal post office, thankfully! I went in expecting to be treated like a human being like I am at my regular post office. I only went to this one because it was near another stop I had to make. I had a package to mail so I went to the counter. I acted as I normally do which is to smile and be friendly. They acted like I was asking for something out the ordinary and I had to keep asking questions about how to get my package mailed, only to be told that I had to go to the self-help kiosk. The person that came in after me was also treated rudely. My regular post office doesn't have a kiosk, So of course I didn't know how to use it. It ended up taking 4 times longer than it would have at my normal post office with a human. Meanwhile, the people working at the counter didn't have much to do...

If you don’t want to do your job, that’s not the customer’s problem. I’ve been coming to this post office regularly and have never felt the need to leave a review before, but today’s experience was unacceptable. I came in for a simple transaction and said hello when I walked in. Instead of being greeted professionally, the employee looked at me with a blank, lifeless expression, as if I didn’t exist, and simply told me to wait, even though there was no one else there. She gave me a condescending attitude and made me feel as though I didn’t know what I was doing. When it was finally my turn, she seemed more interested in avoiding the transaction than helping me and told me I could just use the kiosk instead. Customer service requires basic respect and professionalism, and unfortunately I experienced neither today. Customers should not be made to feel unwelcome or disrespected for simply asking for assistance. Very disappointing experience. I think her name was Tanisha I barely remember

Is it standard procedure for employees at the counter serving clients to be actively on personal phone calls using their earbuds? Being ignored is one thing, but not being able to tell if they are speaking to you or just actively ignoring you is another. Tanisha / USPostal Service - do better. I loathe coming to the post office and knowing the draw this organization is to the tax payer.
