I have never experienced such disrespectful customer service at a USPS location before. The employee working around 1:30 PM on May 15, 2026 was extremely rude, dismissive, and argumentative over a simple labeling issue. Instead of calmly explaining the situation, he immediately became aggressive, threw the package back toward me, raised his voice, and continued escalating the interaction when I politely asked him not to speak to me that way. The issue itself was minor and could have been handled professionally in less than a minute. Completely unacceptable behavior toward a customer.

The staff at this USPS location in Woburn is extremely rude and unprofessional. Every time I go there, the customer service is awful and they make you feel like you’re bothering them just by asking a simple question. I honestly recommend Woburn residents go to the USPS in Winchester instead, where they actually treat you with respect and like a human being.

If you are coming here to drop off a package that's all set, then you'll be fine. Anything else I can't promise will be a good experience because they guy working there is indeed a sad dude. Based off what everyone else is saying, I wouldn't go here if you literally need help with something. Only come here if you know exactly what you're doing. I put 5 stars because I'm cool with just dropping off a package and flashing a smile.

Another Disappointing Experience If you are coming from my review of the washington street location this might make a bit more sense... On Friday, March 6th, I visited the Abbott Street location after speaking with USPS customer support, who suggested that my package might be at this post office. I was still trying to locate the same missing package that had previously been misdirected due to an incorrect ZIP code. Unfortunately, this visit was also a very negative experience. The employee working the counter was extremely dismissive from the beginning. When I tried to explain the situation and provide my tracking number, he refused to even look it up. Instead, he repeatedly told me to go to the Washington Street location. I attempted to explain that I had already been there the day before with no success, but he continued interrupting me and would not allow me to fully explain the situation. I simply wanted the tracking number checked to see if the package might have been scanned or moved. I then asked if I could speak with a manager, but was told there was no manager available. Which I find hard to believe its likely that he didnt want a negative report about his behavior. Overall, the interaction was very frustrating. I was simply trying to locate a package and get assistance, but the level of dismissiveness made it impossible to even have a basic conversation about the issue. Unfortunately, based on my experiences with multiple post offices in Woburn, the level of customer service appears to be consistently poor. Because of this, I would suggest that Woburn residents consider visiting nearby town post offices if they are able to, as the service experience may be significantly better. Unfortunately, judging from other reviews of these locations, it appears that issues like this have been raised before without improvement. If others experience similar problems, I recommend contacting the USPS customer support line so the situation can be properly documented and addressed.
