  Always bad experience but I tried to give it ago again to get the cute Manatee stamps to send out my wedding thank yous and this is my large USPS local location so this is where it said to go… well wish I just listened to my gut. The Red headed wig woman working the front desk is always miserable and acts like you walking in for service is a personal inconvenience for her. She was on her phone while I walked up and I was polite and waited for her to get off her phone to state what I needed. Just a book of the manatee stamps. “ we don’t have those ,those are old… ‘not old enough because they are still online and I verified they would be here’ ..well we don’t have them . Order it online ….’ok how long does that take’ …I don’t know do it yourself” all while she is looking at my furious as if my mere presence is aggravating her at a cellular level. So I ask what she has , she puts down beach stamps and flags and says this is , if you don’t like them you can go and order online. At this point I’m flabbergasted like what is her issue so being the people pleaser I am , I apologize for inconveniencing her and being a bother to HER day and she legitimately said it’s fine! As I walked out I tried to smile and she gave me the rudest look and started gossiping with her coworker! Never gonna try this one again, do yourself a favor and RETIRE if you are so miserable Ma’am , and fellow humans go to the post office on Broadway they are MUCH nicer!

  Some of the rudest employees I’ve ever met. PLEASE, Find people who actually want to do their job. I recant some of my statement, the passport lady is an absolute peach. It’s the lady at the front who just.. needs a happy pill

  Customer service is a foreign concept to these people, they wouldn’t know customer service if it walked up and slapped them in the face. I had an “undeliverable” package, and for whatever reason it was undeliverable hours before the actual mail even arrived. It was taken to the plant in the industrial park, yet I still couldn’t seem to pick it up. So, I opted to have it brought back to the main post office for easy next day pick up. Not only was it not there hours after it was promised, but the woman at the counter had the gaul with an attitude to match to tell me to call them to find out the where abouts after I’d already politely explained the adventure I’d been on trying to pick it up the day before. So, I looked her in the face and said “I’m sorry, but you should call them. I don’t need to work this hard to obtain something that should have been delivered in the first place the day before.” She was so miffed all I heard while on the phone was how she had an ‘upset customer’ there giving her a difficult time with a whole bunch of sighs to accompany her sob story. I’m sorry, but that’s your job. You can pick up the phone and find my package after it failed to be available hours after promised, and a day after it should have been delivered. Then she comes back to tell me that it should have been delivered that morning but for whatever reason it wasn’t and all I can do is wait for it to show up. That was her solution to my missing package that could not be located: wait and see. Are you kidding me? I understand it isn’t your personal problem, but that is your job, and for you to not care at all and give me an attitude the way you did you should not be in your job. You have to be one of the most unpleasant people I have ever had to encounter. Maybe it’s time to consider a job change, or better yet, retire.
