- JJJim JJun 2, 20231.0I paid $9 to send my journeyman sprinkler fitter application to Boston department of licensure by certified mail. It was estimated to be delivered 5/25/23. Today is 6/2/23 and I was just told they tried to deliver it on Saturday so it got returned. Now it's sitting somewhere waiting for D.O.L. to "go pick it up" as it was put. What government office is open on the weekend to sign for their mail? Over 100 years in service still no kind of efficiency. Don't waste your money on certified mail if the package is time sensitive. In fact just use ups I've had much more success and less issues and the employees are typically nicer.
