Absolute worst post office in the United States. It’s not a Post Office, it’s a Postal Police Station. Many of the online vendors such as Depop, Whatnot, Grailed, Poshmark, etc auto generate you a label for the order upon sale. You literally have no way to change the ship date. EVERY SINGLE TIME - there is an issue at this post office with shipping packages if the date doesn’t match the day you drop it off (even when the date is generated on a day like SUNDAY, when they are never open). Not sure if they get a bonus or something for tracking acceptance rate, but the post office has ZERO LIABILITY on accuracy of shipping time as it is up to the customer to drop it off. Total wackjobs running this place. How wacky? They literally DROVE to my house to drop my packages off to me because the date was off - as a reminder I don’t have any control over the date on the label since it’s supplied from directly from the company. But I’m sure I can bring these to 10 other post offices Monday and have zero issues.

I never leave bad reviews but this location is the most unpleasant post office to visit in Quincy. The customer service is horrible, going in here you feel like you’re a bother to the employees. I’ve gone multiple times thinking it was just an off day before, but no, it seems to be the true climate of the location. I always leave upset about the lack of help, a denied package (a very common issue here with packages that are easily accepted at other locations), or rude staff who treat customers poorly. I’ve witnessed other people in line have the same experience as me, leaving just as annoyed. If you’re in this area it’s worth going to the Hancock street location, they are always so welcoming, communicative, and helpful.

Power hungry rude clerk would not accept my package because the prepaid label for my package was generated 2 days prior. Told me thats the policy with a little smirk on her face. Disappointed in my local USPS. She refused to take a package from the couple in front of me as well. Find somewhere else.

The Wollaston, Quincy USPS branch is the absolute worst I've ever been to. Totally unhelpful. They would not take my package because the delivery label was still on it. The women suggested I go home and turn the bag inside out and then come back. I asked her why I couldnt do that right here and she replied that she would not help me tape the bag back up and I would have to purchase a new roll of tape from her. I then took a train to the next branch in Quincy Center and wouldn't you know it, there was no issue with taking the bag as it is. The gentleman at the Quincy Center location couldn't have been nicer. And can you imagine he used his own tape to attach the shipping label.
