FED UP with the post office! Someone just hung up on me to top it all off! My 80 year old grandparents sent my kids Halloween stuff and were guaranteed delivery on Halloween. They paid for 2 day shipping and the employee at there post office said it would be here on Halloween. I went online and tracked the package last night because we never received it- says ‘attempted delivery at 5:30 no safe spot to leave package, slip left’. WE WERE HOME AND MY KIDS WERE OUTSIDE CARVING THEIR PUMPKINS THEN! I called this morning and the postmaster told me that the driver tried to deliver at 10am but there was a landscaper blocking the driveway so she couldn’t get in. I was home, no knock or bell and believe my my dogs would hear. Also it’s a cul de sac, you really can’t block it, you just drive around if someone is pulled to the side AND there was no landscaping yesterday. I told him to call the landscaping company and confirm that we didn’t have services. He said she tried again at 5:30 but the landscapers were still blocking the driveway! Imagine?! Landscapers from 10-5:30??? Blocking the whole cul de sac??? Couldn’t she walk around the non existent landscapers??? I left from 10:30-1:30 and somehow I was able to get around these non existent landscapers and so were my neighbors! I spoke to multiple people who confirmed they came in and out and there was no blockage or landscapers yesterday. The postmaster said he would check into it and call me back, he called back saying he had a serious talk with his employees about making honest attempts to deliver and that my landscaping company told him there were services yesterday which is a blatant lie. When I spoke the the landscaping company afterwards, they said they have been having issues with packages as well and they told the postmaster they will look at specific dates and call him back- NOT THAT THERE WAS SOMEONE AT THE PROPERTY! They said they were going to call him and confirm 100% that they were not here. I called the postoffice back to explain this and they hung up on me! AND WHERE IS THE SLIP SHE LEFT??? Not on my doors or in my mailbox! This is not the first time we’ve had issues with this post office. I continue to see posts about this post office and the terrible service! I will never use them again!
