TLDR: Lunenburg Post Office is accessible and plenty of parking, but counter experiences can be inconsistent depending on staffing and foot traffic. Other reviews back this up. Details: I go to this postal office as the one in downtown Leominster is a chore to access; parking is a nightmare. The Lunenburg location is easily accessible, plenty of parking, and there's collection boxes and slots right as you walk in. If you need to do any transactions at the counter, it's Russian roulette with the experience you'll get. I had to mail an item (stamped envelope) and I needed a book of stamps. I dropped my envelope in the collection slot and went to the counter as I didn't see any obvious self-serve kiosk like in Leominster. I was next in line. Both stations were staffed and the clerks were wrapping up helping their customers. One finished and promptly disappeared. The other was still assisting her customer. Meanwhile, a line of about five or six people formed behind me. All holding small packages. While that line was forming, two men were back and forth with a mountain of pre-paid (assuming based on the sheer volume they had) packages. There were packages everywhere. I eyeballed about 80-100. The lone clerk finished up with her customer and told the men to come forward as they were here before the rest of the line. Annoyed as I know this is going to take a better part of 15 minutes, I mention I just need a book of stamps so I'm a quick transaction. I'm told she needs to take people in order. I'm literally next in line and will take 2 minutes tops, but okay. Not to mention maybe process the rest of the line first instead of making everyone wait at least 15 minutes while she scans and sorts all those packages. Even better, where did the other clerk go? No one else to help? I walked out. While the Leominster post office is a chore to find parking, I have never had a bad experience with counter transactions. I have seen them barrel through a line of customers with efficiency and even "reordering" the line based on customer needs (i.e. if someone just needs stamps or is dropping off a package and doesn't need a receipt, etc). Lunenburg, for a smaller post office in comparison, should be more able to adapt and not be rigid, inconveniencing customers.

I’ve tried to call half a dozen times to report the driver they have. Who ever delivers to plesant st, seriously needs a job check. He goes so fast, stopped ar my mail box went to leave forgot he missed something went into reverse and slammed the gas pedal and almost hit my dog. And that’s just 1 time. He’s almost hit my dogs on multiple occasions and when I asked him to slow down he literally said “I don’t think I’m going to fast if you have a problem feel free to call the post office@ which I can’t get a hold of a single person. If something’s not done about this I’m going to the post office and to the police station.

I keep getting mail that belongs to people that don't live here any more. They should be reading the card that's in the box. I can't understand what the problem is. They should only put mail in the box that has the name on the card

This is my 2nd time getting packages from this post office since I am new to town, but I always make sure that my address is correct so as there is no error on my part, but we can't quite say the same for this particular driver. I know this is the holiday season and mistakes happen but when you are sitting home waiting for a package to arrive and you go online to see its been delivered and you know that no one has been at your home and when you go outside to see just by chance maybe you didn't hear them when they came. Well they delivered the package alright but to whom? because it sure wasn't me, I called the post office and the guy says oh yeah I remember that box I will have to call the carrier and see where he delivered it to and get back to me. Well I called them again for a third time and this time the lady who answered was very helpful at least she was able to tell me where the package had been delivered and I was able to retrieve it.
