  Today was the sunshine orange Subaru Crosstrek parade. There are advertisements all around the town notifying people of the event. The event meeting point was behind the staples. Everyone who wanted balloons for the parade were going into staples to get some. Well, I decided I wanted balloons 20 min before the start time. I go inside to the party city area and there’s a guy in front of me waiting and the employee behind the desk is on the phone with another customer. I stand there for 15 min while the employee is chatting away with whomever is on the other end of the phone. It is NOT busy in there. There’s as many 7 patrons in total, all scattered around the store. There’s a male employee walking around the register area checking things so I am assuming he’s the manager, he sees me approaching and turns around to face the wall. I asked him if he’s able to inflate two balloons for me and with his back is still to me he points over at the party city area and says “he can do it” I told him that the employee has been on the phone for the past 15 min. The employee I’m speaking to (by the way, with his back still facing me) just goes “um um um” and starts going on about how he really doesn’t do the balloons. It was so frustrating that someone I’m assuming is a manager won’t even turn around to talk to me like a normal human, and also was giving excuses how he didn’t want to help a customer who was under a time constraint. I never ended up with any balloons to tie onto my Subaru. Don’t come here if you’re pinched for time. I wasted twenty min in here when I could have gone over to the Big Y and gotten balloons there.

  My brother and I went to the store in Great Barrington. The place was clean and well in order. I was looking for a good printer. I found a few I was interested in. No sales associate was on the floor, so my brother had to find one.He told the gentleman that I needed assistance cuz I wasn't sure which printer would be best. We waited for 25 minutes and no sales associate came down to see us. I only know it's one sale to Staples, but your customer service leaves a lot to be desired. The only reason why you got one star is because the store looks clean and organized.

  Cheap products that dont work right. Could get a warranty for the price of the product, but selling things that dont work out of the box is scummy.

  Stopped in staples today to print a couple little forms. Easy peasy right? Wrong! I knew what my plan was because my brother printer ran out of one color, now it wont print anything! The prices of staples cartridges are outrageous, i figured i would just use print service and spend a few bucks rather than break the bank. When i arrived there was an older gentleman at the counter and what seemed like the person working the print scolding him. She directed him to the self serve printers and curtly explained there was directions on the center counter. You could see the gentlemans hurt as his shoulders sank. She offered no other assistant other than use self serve. I for one am so disgusted with the curelty in store these days for employees who don't have the grit to handle traffic politely. So I say to staples. If you Can't handle the customer bothering you while you are printing other jobs, then maybe you should take it off the floor and put it in the back room! Or just remove the service your people can't seem to handle.
