This is our base cost for labor on a machine, and is usually capped at a two hour maximum, with a few exceptions, such as custom-built PCs with non-standard parts (this caps at three hours instead), extensive hardware repairs, and extended data recovery. Other exceptions exist as well, and will be discussed with you *before* we do any work on the machine(s) you bring to us, so that you are aware of all possible expenses, before you agree to pay for whatever work may be needed.

Our diagnostic fee, which is waived if the required work, or a replacement machine, is handled through us. This fee is also generally waived on machines covered by one of the contracts we offer.

Removal of viruses, malware, spyware, and other malicious programs, scripts and "bugs". Optimizations to speed up your device, and bringing your computer current with updates. This applies to Windows, Mac, and Linux-based single-OS machines. We also support dual/multi-boot systems, but at a higher rate, based on the number of installed Operating systems we need to work on (if, for example, you have a dual-boot system, but only need us to work on the Windows installation on it, you will only be charged for the one OS). This price reflects computers without a service contract on them.

Did your computer get corrupt, or you just want to start fresh? We can re-install your Operating system for you! The price is reflective of a single OS re-installation, without any software installation, nor any data transfer, and is per-OS. Setting up a dual-boot Windows/Ubuntu system, for example, would be two operating systems re-installation charges.

Did you accidentally delete an important file you needed for work? Tax returns from last year suddenly disappeared into the digital ether? We can attempt to recover these files for you! The simple data recovery service is based on the use of specialized recovery tools we have, and limited to a three hour or less labor charge. The success rate for this service is extremely high (almost 100% recovery rate), but if your data is very gone, or the device(s) we need to recover from have extensive damage, you may end up needing a higher-cost option, up to and possibly including what is referred to as 'surgical data recovery/retrieval', but you will be consulted before any additional charges are necessary, if it comes to that. Please note: Although data recovery is usually possible in most cases, because of the way that computers and different types of storage devices work, in some cases, data retrieval is not possible.

Need to dispose of a computer, but need your hard drive wiped of all personal data? We have specialized date destruction equipment available to securely erase you drives, to prevent anyone from recovering that data; a quick hard drive format simply won't do the trick! Our machines use the "old" NSA standard method of destruction, which surpasses current-day NSA standards, and takes several hours to complete. After this is finished, we also physically destroy the drive, making it all but impossible for anyone that stumbles across it, unable to retrieve a single bit or byte about you from that drive! The base cost covers up to two hard drives, additional amounts incur additional expense.
