I am extremely upset and disappointed with the way my daughter was treated at your location yesterday, Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at approximately 6:00 PM.
My daughter came in to mail an envelope containing checks. Your posted business hours are until 6:30 PM, so she arrived at 6:00 PM THIRTY MINUTES before closing. I find it completely unacceptable that she was treated as though she had done something wrong simply because she arrived “5 minutes early” according to the employees. If your business hours are until 6:30 PM, customers have every right to come in and receive service before 6:30 PM.
What is even more disturbing is that the employees were extremely rude and disrespectful toward her. She was told that the other customers would be helped before her, apparently because she was speaking Spanish. She was made to feel like she was being punished for not speaking English, even though the employees themselves are Latinas. They also refused to explain to her in Spanish what she needed to do, insisting that everything had to be communicated in English.
To make matters worse, the envelope she was carrying was actually thrown down by an employee, and inappropriate language was used during the interaction. This behavior is completely unacceptable, especially when dealing with a customer who was simply trying to send an envelope during your normal business hours.
I want to be very clear: this is not simply a complaint about waiting a few extra minutes. This is about the disrespectful, dismissive, and inappropriate way my daughter was treated. No customer should be made to feel unwelcome, discriminated against, or humiliated because they speak Spanish.
I expect management to take this complaint seriously, investigate what happened, and address the conduct of the employees involved. I would also like an explanation as to why my daughter was treated differently from the other customers and why she was apparently placed at the end of the line because she was speaking Spanish.
Your employees represent your business. Customers should be treated with basic courtesy and respect regardless of the language they speak. What happened yesterday was completely unacceptable, and I expect a response regarding how this matter will be handled.
