  When I walked in the employee behind the counter was having a meltdown because he couldn’t figure out how to do something. After he told his other coworker to do it, he then came over to help me. I was simply returning Amazon package where I had elected that the label and shipping be included in my return through the Amazon website and they still tried to charge me for the label. His sarcastic tone and rude demeanor regarding the entire interaction was incredibly unprofessional.

  I purposely planned to come to this store on Saturday Labor Day Weekend. My mother passed away a month ago and there were some very important items that had much sentimental importance to us so we flew here from South Carolina to package a few things and took them to the UPS store in Drum Hill in Chelmsford Mass. As we entered there was a line with one person working which wasn’t a big deal however there was one person that came up to the front from the back of the store and just stood at the front doing nothing so we asked if he was taking customers and he made a wise response saying that’s what I’m here for, during the process he started being political and said how his generation couldn’t make enough money to make ends meet and it wasn’t as easy as my generation made it. I’m a senior in my 70’s I worked very hard in my lifetime as did my wife and I found that very offensive. He appeared to be a very lazy person. Prior to weighing my package he quickly said it would cost over 100.00 to mail it then he actually weighed it looked at some cheat sheet chart and then he said it would cost $78.00. I asked him to put a Fragile sticker on it and again being a wise ass he said he didn’t have any then I asked him to mark fragile on it and he said he couldn’t do it then he quickly said it didn’t matter if fragile was on it because the packages get thrown around anyway. The one man doing all the customer work came over with stickers and put them on my box, In addition I had an artificial Christmas tree in a tote box and he went through the same crap asking who I voted for in the last election and after he went through the motions looking at his chart then he said it would cost $500.00 to mail it which we didn’t do. I plan on contacting the store manager after the holiday to tell my experience. I never in all my years seen a customer representative act in such a condescending and ignorant manner. If this is the representative that this store wants to have i don’t know how they stay in business. Now I'm wondering if this guy charged me the correct price in mailing my package.

  Very good place just wish there was more staff there it just seemed short handed to me otherwise it was very good!

  Really hate to say this , but kinda need to . Don’t want anyone to lose job . Today. I went in with a package pre -labeled and paid for . Clerk asked “where’s the label ?” It was right there if he turned it a bit . Then I asked , meekly , “ if I have something not wrapped or packaged , do you do the whole thing ?” . He looked at my canvas bag obviously holding an item that I wanted to send . His response “ It’s Saturday , we prefer you bring them in all ready and with a label.” He repeated something similar . I said “ Ok then I’ll come back “ he said “no don’t leave . I was only joking “ to which I said “ no you weren’t “ and he said “ I was only half joking .” I left . Not a bad kid , but maybe shouldn’t work on saturdays . I won’t be going back .PS the store was not at all busy at the time . One person behind me .
