  I am a UPS store member in Jersey. I asked my store how to ship to another UPS store. He said you can just ship it to someone, address it to the recipient at the store's address. I also confirmed this by calling the UPS 800 number, and they said the same thing. I shipped two packages to my son, and when my son went to pick them up today, the guy said he didn't have them, even after my son showed the tracking number. He scolded my son for shipping to the store and not having an account at the Boston store. He said they were going to ship it back because this is not what they do. He charged my son $20 for the privilege of receiving a package. He was completely rude and unprofessional, and I have a feeling he pocketed the $20. Needless to say, if I have a choice, we're never using this store.

  Holy good god. The number on Google maps does not connect you to the store. It puts you in a maze of phone menus and useless AI agents and hold-time advertisements, and it's not until you've wasted SIX MINUTES on the phone until someone in India tells you that you can't call the actual store. It's 2026 and you can't just call a freaking store.

  Recently changed ownership and turned evil. Last summer and fall, a large number of packages received for me here were thrown in the garbage without any warning, because they had been stored beyond the deadline. I have been a customer of this store since the 1990s, having had several different boxes over the years, and nothing like this had ever happened to me in those three decades. Apparently the store changed ownership in 2025, and I spoke to the new owner. She had not the slightest apology to offer me about what happened. I'm afraid to say she is a snarky and legalistic person... as if there were not enough of those in Cambridge... The employees are still the same as they were last year or the year before, friendly and competent people, but in view of what happened to me and how the new owner reacted, I have closed my box here and do not intend to go back.
