  Aiden is a fantastic associate. He made my shopping experience very great. I haven’t shopped at staples in ages and I will be returning, solely based off the good experience I had today.

  First, I would like to make it VERY clear that this is not the first time I have experienced an issue like this at this location, and after my most recent visit I will NOT be returning. Unfortunately, the behavior from the store’s manager, Alex, has been beyond unprofessional. During my most recent visit, I needed assistance locating a specific notebook for my daughter’s back to school list, and Alex was very unwilling to help and made the interaction feel as though assisting a customer was a complete inconvenience. His commentary about reading the signs made me feel dumb for not knowing EXACTLY where to find what i was looking for. While I absolutely understand that employees can have rough days, this has not been a one time thing at this location. The fFinal straw for me as a customer, and what ultimately convinced me to write this review, was the manager in question flipping off the employee who was actively assisting me while checking out. I found this behavior utterly inappropriate and unprofessional, coming from someone in a management position. The employee, who was very apologetic about the situation, informed me that this is something Alex frequently does as “just a joke”, which makes the situation even MORE concerning. I am only posting this because I HOPE that corporate will look into the management at this location. I have been a loyal customer, but I will not be back. The management is actively driving customers away.

  Disappointing experience. I came in a few weeks ago and nobody was walking on the floor to assist associates, and I had to wait nearly 15 minutes in an aisle before I even saw anyone who worked there. The associate Chris who helped me knew nothing about printers, and could not steer me in the right direction. You work at a Staples, if I have questions about what I am buying you should be able to tell me about the products you are selling! And Chris just told me that he did not know enough about printers to assist me with picking one out, and then walked away. And then I called the store later to try to get some help over the phone. I spoke with a manager, I did not catch his name, but he was very dismissing of my issues and still did not give me any advice on which printer to buy. I have been going to other Staples for years now and never had this poor of an expercience. Will never be going to Staples in Auburn again.
