- DPDanette PaddieMay 27, 20261.0My packages that are too big for the mailbox sometimes get put on the ground at the uncovered door on the SIDE of the house. I have a front and back door that are both COVERED… Yesterday, a package was left at the side door again, and it was sopping wet by the time I returned home. I don’t care if the contents are worth $5 or $500 dollars… leave it at a main door that is covered. Calling the automated line is a joke and waste of time.
