I had rescheduled my delivery to get picked up from the post office and I had the email and everything that confirmed that I was good to pick it up on the exact date that it was, and when I got there, the man was very dismissive towards me and kept shaking his head when I tried to show him that it said that I could pick it up today. He kept saying no no no like you can't you can't do that like it's gonna come to your house and as I was trying to be extremely nice and respectful, I asked him if there's anyway that I could schedule it for a certain time because I have work and I won't be home. He continued to shake his head no before I even finished my sentence and was very dismissive towards me and didn't bother to just like simply explain that I could come back to pick it up on Monday instead. I was practically begging for him to use his words and communicate with me respectfully instead of just dismissing what I'm saying, right off the bat. I was picking up a very important letter and so I was obviously a little bit distressed when he seemed as though he couldn't find it and then the fact that he was just being super dismissive and rude towards me was not very appreciated. Also, USPS has an option for you to schedule to pick up your package when it's not actually an option. This is an inconsiderate waste of your customers time. Somebody should probably fix that.

I was helped by a very efficient and friendly clerk (Karen). There were like 6 or 7 people in front of me and I was in and out in less that 10 minutes.

First I want to say this is not a bad review. I just simply would like to share my experience at this particular post office in a respectful way I possibly can to raise awareness of how what we say can affect others. Me and my son stop by this post office for the first time to mail off a letter. When it was our turn to approach the counter I let the cashier know that I was mailing off a letter. She asked if I needed a stamped envelope and I said sure. I also asked how much would it cost because I wasn't familiar with the prices of their stamped envelopes as a first time customer. After we proceeded with the transaction i tried using my debit card and accidentally put in the wrong pin because I have so many of them that it's easy to forget. I asked if I could bypass the pin and the cashier said yes and to just press the green button. After we finished I moved down the counter so that the next customer behind me can be served by the cashier. The cashier was polite with me, but while she was serving the next customer after me I heard the manager being friendly with him and telling him that he was the easiest customer to deal with. Now I'm not angry. However I did feel uncomfortable because I received what she said as if it was directed towards me because I forgot my pin to my debit card when it was time to pay for the envelope and because I asked how much was the envelope since I honestly didn't know how much it was ahead of time. I could be wrong but I'm simply sharing that I processed the manager's comment as if it was directed towards me within the moment if that makes sense. I say this to say words can really affect people in a positive or negative way even when we are not aware of it in the moment. Because of what the manager said I'm not sure if I'll feel comfortable visiting this particular post office again or at least for awhile. I hope this helps and hope for the best.
