Was Calling about a package and they had it and had the information i needed. But the lady who picked up was rude and not fun to talk to. ITs like me calling about my package ruined her day.

Had a great experience meeting with the staff here for first time. We are moving in from SC and had to find a way to handle the mail as we transition. They completely understood and proposed a solution that works great for us and for them. Very refreshing to find a post office that really cares about their customers !

Just want to state as of 2026 This is still a valid complaint and an ongoing issue USPS will still state that a package is not deliverable because they won't even attempt to talk to you when you're home. They have the little slips prefilled out to avoid doing work. They will even race to put them in your mailbox, hidden in the other mail, and drive off quickly if they see you approaching. Other offices have been talked to about this and they've stated it's a known issue and they regularly get complaints. In spite of this being a major violation the USPS simply doesn't care about who they hire or the quality of their deliveries. Original post Review from a few years ago: Will be escalating this up the chain o command as local branch doesn't seem to care. One of our delivery ladies lies and doesn't want to get out of her car for deliveries even on nice days let alone when their slogan is supposed to kick in. Complained and they just really don't seem to care about us. To make it worse their limited hours make it incredibly difficult to pick up packages that they claim they tried to deliver. This is actually ILLEGAL under 18USC Ch83 (intentional obstruction of mail delivery) and she should be fined, imprisoned or both according to the law so the fact they aren't taking this seriously is incredibly disheartening. Especially because I know there are older people who live around here who may struggle to retrieve their mail. This never used to be an issue. She even told us we don't park right in our driveway and she's not allowed to drive in reverse, which is bananas considering it's a straight driveway and not super long or anything, but to try to be helpful we changed how we parked for her and she still won't come down and falsely fills out delivery slips saying she attempted to deliver when she absolutely didn't. On the rare occasion a package is delivered it's left on the side of the road. We both work from home remotely and it's never an issue of someone being unavailable or not here. For contrast, UPS will park on the road on a nice day and carry heavy packages to my door. If you can avoid USPS here, you should.
