  Carlton does not like his job and it shows. I’m new to this state I just moved here few weeks ago from Texas. So this was only my 2nd time at this location. I came to send 2 packages 1 of them wasn’t even mine and my husband (never sending a package before) did not know the post office had flat rates on some items so yes he did ask “ I wanna know how much to send this package” when Carlton said “it’s a false rate etc of etc” I did tell him “yes I know we need to just pay for it and send it” (cause I knew it was a flat rate so my husband should’ve never asked how much I know) well here’s were I knew Carlton was gonna be on some today. He makes his side comment of “well asked how much it was so I said how much it was” but trust, it was the way he said it. So the bad energy was already there and I could tell. Now for the 2nd package which was mine, I told him “ok so this package we do want to know how much it’s gonna be” one price was $20ish the other $30ish ……. in my head I’m like it’s just some clothes and a small toy inside so it’s not needed to be rushed. So I told him the $20ish was fine. Well he told me in his rude voice for the second time with me “next time don’t out the priority label to put an address id you aren’t gonna do priority. Now to me in my head goes few things: 1. you’re gonna cover the written label I put on it or could cover jr. and 2. Why be so rude with me just because YOU are having a bad day?! it’s a free label that yall provide for us to hand write the addresses on. I tried to help you if anything to make the process faster for the both of us. So on my hand written label I have the UNIT that it’s for (cause it’s a duplex) and he says “well it didn’t give me no option for a unit” so he said I could write the unit on the label well clearly me and my husband tried but the pen was NOT writing on the label at alllll. My husband then asked him for a permanent marker Carlton SLAMS the marker on the box at my husband. Now, my husband is active duty (its the whole reason I had to leave Texas to be out here) so my husband won’t say anything to anyone when it comes to conflict but I WILL. As I was working on my package to make sure it’s right, a woman comes in to say her package wasn’t dropped off due to the mailman not being able to get in her driveway and it made it so much worse for Carlton he started to use profanity and was complaining “I’m not even getting paid over time to deal with this b s” so I did ask him what’s his name and if he was having a bad day. My 1 star goes to the sweet lady who helped me the first time I went in I wish I knew he name cause if I ever go back to this location I only want her to help me. Carlton, do better.

  Nicole is very sweet and helpful. I came to get stamps and was in and out. I also was able to mail it out in less than 2 minutes.

  Rude staff, very obvious they hate their job. Even towards the people before me. She wouldnt answer any of my questions. Over charged me for shipping even though my package was the right size. Very rude and rushing while i was writing my address with no line behind me. Just go anywhere else. $10 to mail an envelope is insain.

  By Far the laziest letter carrier I have ever had... I dont get mail if she cant pull up to the mail box shr literally skipped the neighbor and myself because a truck was within a couple of feet from my mailbox...I come from a postal Family and Oak Grove is a disgrace to the post office You all should be ASHAMED
