Went to the Lansdowne location to send my daughter a package to Seattle, I haven't been able to see my daughter since 2013, The package was for her birthday, and it contained some very expensive items, The guy insisted on creating a label himself, and I showed him my daughter's address, he said afterwards, "Uh Oh! Did you want insurance on this? , I said yes, and he said "Oh, it has insurance!" I said "Okay" After two weeks my daughter didn't receive her package, I requested a search online of where the package was, apparently the guy never put the address correctly, and the package ended up in the "Dead Mail" Facility ; I asked where that facility was and they said, Oh, somewhere in Atlanta, we think." I called and asked the Seattle facility to do a search and of course they didn't find anything, The interesting thing about this case:The employee at the counter became very distracted by his boyfriend in the line and kept looking over at him, mouthing words and laughing while he was supposedly working on my order; the boyfriend even came up to the counter and stood next to me and began talking to employee who was responsible for processing my package correctly. I went back to the post office to address the problem, after my daughter did not receive her gift and the lady there said, "Never allow an employee to make a label for you!" And the older man with the white hair said, "I know who this is, he is very good at his job!" I said, "He caused my daughter to not receive her birthday gift!" This broke my heart that no one cared enough to really locate that package, the label had to have SOME correct information! The United States Postal Service is very quick to "procure" the public's belongings!

The men that work at this location are so beyond rude for no reason. I was only looking for information on how to return a large package. They instead were dismissive and arrogant. I understand not having an answer but the demeanor they have is unnecessarily aggressive.

Absolutely terrible customer service. I came in around 2:00 p.m. to ask about picking up a package one day early because I was leaving that evening for 10 days. The location was nearly empty, but the short skinny blonde lady refused to even look, CLAIMED they “don’t do that,” and was rude and dismissive—despite other employees at this same location helping me with this exact request before. Completely unhelpful and unacceptable.
