This has got to be the worst USPS hub in the country!! Every time I have a package coming I choose the overnight shipping option because it's worth the $20+ to not watch it hit Olathe and then spend the next 5 days in transit to the next facility!!! They either hire the most incompetent people on the planet, or they take joy in knowing people are losing their minds waiting for their packages to arrive. They should just shut down this facility and build a new hub for mail to be routed through the region because this is pathetic!!!

Doris was so nice! It was my first time applying for a passport and she helped make it easy, and I didn’t feel rushed. Very sweet lady 🙂

I had a very disappointing experience at the post office today. I arrived only 4–5 minutes after the posted cutoff time, but the staff refused to help us and told us we were late.
What made the situation worse was the way we were treated. The staff member was very rude and did not try to assist or explain politely. A little understanding and better customer service would have made a big difference.
I hope the management can improve the way customers are treated in the future.
