Also, trying to get ahold of them on the phone is stupid. You can't ever talk to a real person and the AI can not usually help me with my quick question or issue.

- CCCliff ConradAug 27, 20262.0My wife (a citizen immigrant) and I went several times to get passport cards. We talked to 3 different people, all very pleasant, who gave us different answers on how to apply and what documents we needed. It was never clear exactly what form we needed to fill out. We also understood that we needed to submit original documents. For a naturalized citizen to be without original documents in the time of ICE raids is foolish. It was also not clear to us that the original documents would not be altered or voided when returned. For example, we read someplace that if we submitted passports to get a passport cart, there was the possibility that the passport would be returned with holes punched in it thereby voiding it. The bottom line is that we just did not feel the risk to our documents justified the risk to get a passport card. I STRONGLY suggest that the post office have a meeting and train everyone on EXACTLY what forms are needed, how they are processed and what risk, if any, there are.

I’m afraid to order anything to be shipped to me because I’ve lost so much money on packages that are marked delivered but weren’t, and the companies won’t refund or send a new one because the postal worker can’t read an address correctly. If I could give a zero-star review I would!
